~SENTENCES ACCORDING TO STRUCTURE~

There are so many kinds of sentences according to structure. These are simple sentences, compound sentences, complex sentences and compound complex sentences.

            

A simple sentence can have a compound subject and simple predicate or simple subject and compound predicate. Mostly a simple sentence has a simple subject and a simple predicate. A compound sentence is composed of two or more simple sentences, mostly connected by a coordinating conjunction like and, but and so. A complex sentence has an independent clause and a dependent clause and connected by subordinating conjunctions like because, since etc. A compound complex is like a complex sentence but it has two or more independent clauses.
